After more than 25 years, Dodge has revived the Challenger nameplate for use on a retro-designed, two-door muscle car. Although, initial sales are limited to the performance-tuned Challenger SRT8, more efficient V-6 and V-8 models will soon join the lineup. The Dodge Challenger R/T features a powerful HEMI® V-8 with cylinder deactivation for increased fuel efficiency. The Challenger SRT8 features a 425-horsepower V-8 in addition to looks similar to the original model. The Dodge Challenger comes with a lifetime powertrain warranty and gets an estimated 18 mpg on the highway.
