The Chevrolet Trailblazer replaced the four-door S10 Blazer in 2002. A bigger and more spacious SUV compared to the Blazer, the Trailblazer offered a more refined ride but maintained its off-road capabilities. For the 2006 model year, the Trailblazer line received a few changes including the departure of the long-wheelbase EXT model. The Trailblazer SS adds legitimate performance to the lineup with its 395-horsepower V-8, sport-tuned suspension, aggressive 20-inch, polished-aluminum wheels and heavy-duty Corvette-based front brakes. The Chevrolet Trailblazer comes with a five-year/100,000-mile powertrain and gets an estimated 16-20 mpg on the highway.
