To complement the popular MDX SUV, Acura launched the smaller RDX luxury crossover model in 2006. The RDX has a seating capacity for up to five passengers and combines the useful and roomy interior of a crossover with the sportiness and fun-to-drive experience unique to Acura. On the sporty side, the RDX comes standard with a 240-horsepower, turbocharged four-cylinder engine mated to a five-speed automatic transmission and benefits from the Acura Super Handling All-Wheel Drive™ (SH-AWD). The Acura RDX comes with a four-year/50,000-mile warranty and gets an estimated 22 mpg on the highway.
