Although the Kia brand didn't sell a car in the United States until 1994, the company had been producing cars for the U.S. (rebranded as Chrysler vehicles) since 1986. Since then, the lineup has swelled to nine vehicles including the latest addition, the Borrego full-size luxury SUV. In addition to producing stylish, inexpensive vehicles, Kia's vehicles also focus on safety. All models come standard with six airbags and consistently rank among the top of their segment in the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration (NHTSA) crash ratings. Except for the Kia's flagship sedan and SUV, the Amanti and the Borrego, all Kia models have a starting MSRP under $25,000. In addition to the low prices, Kia continues to offer its 10 year/100,000 mile powertrain warranty to make a popular choice.
