When the Element was introduced in 2003, its unique styling tended to be very polarizing. With an X-Games mentality and a functional interior, this crossover based off the CR-V has definitely found its niche. In addition to the Element’s rugged plastic interior, all four seats lay flat to form a sleeping surface or the rear seats can either fold up out of the way or be removed altogether. The Element SC offers a more distinguishable and sporty look including a lowered suspension, aggressive front fascia and a monochromatic paint scheme. The Honda Element comes with a five-year/60,000-mile powertrain warranty and gets an estimated 20 mpg on the highway.
